What the best tech products are for kids?

I will officially be homeschooling Charlie beginning in the morning. I thought you might be homeschooling your children as well. I would like to share this Guest Post explaining what the best tech products are for kids? Which is written by Theresa Desuyo.

STEM toys are optimal because they encourage critical thinking, logic, problem solving, and are good for hand-eye coordination and fine motor muscle development.

Piper Computer Kit ($199 MSRP)

With the components in this kit, your child can build a working computer. Once built, they can use their DIY computer to play a Raspberry Pi edition game of Minecraft, during which they will be given prompts and clues as to how to add additional hardware to the physical computer, thereby enhancing its capabilities.

Jiusion handheld digital microscope ($20 MSRP)

Your kids will love collecting samples to examine with Jiusion’s compact model, as even everyday objects can reveal surprises. The handheld microscope plugs into your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone — the software currently supports Windows, MacOS, and Android — and allows for up to 1,000X magnification. There are also eight LEDs to illuminate your subject, as well as a plastic stand you can slot the device into.

VTech Touch and Learn Activity Desk ($50 MSRP)

Parents want to introduce technology to their young children, but they don’t want them to miss out on the hands-on activities that are critical to motor skills development. The VTech desk meets both these needs by using a LED display, an interactive touchpad and sound to teach math basics, music, drawing and more. The digital desk includes five activity pages to get a child started and expansion packs that delve into different subject

Loog Guitars ($79 basic model MSRP)

The Loog guitar is a simple instrument, designed for younger players just learning. Playing a musical instrument helps children benefit in almost every level: it enhances their cognitive skills while fostering creative thinking and their ability to focus. With Loog, kids are playing and having fun from the very beginning, acquiring skills that stay with them.
