ZidZania USA – The Mommies Reviews

Last night David came in from work and asked if we had anything to do as it was raining and getting nasty outside. I reminded David Charlie and I was going to KidZania in Dallas.

I was blessed when David said he would come with us because he had been up since three. Poor, David didn’t have time to eat a snack before we left because the map said it would take us at least a hour to get there.

David and I had discussed KidZania when we went out to dinner on Thursday evening and how I would be able to use this in Homeschooling but Charlie had no, clue where we was going.

We arrived at the Mall and Charlie rolled his eyes and said not something else for you mom. I didn’t answer. I just asked Charlie to watch for a sign that said KidZania.

We walked in the Mall and Charlie pointed upstairs and saw the Airplane. David couldn’t believe they had a real plane children could go inside and try out 6 Simulators.

Just remember the Airplane is upstairs by the parents lounge and that this does cost money. Knowing this Charlie opted not to go on which upset David some but it was Charlies night not ours.

When we study Transportation we can come back and Charlie can go on the Airplane because I can tell you we will be back because Charlie has a list of friends he wants to bring and I have a list of lesson plans and we can come here for hands on activities.

Kids do get to ride in the Fire Truck around Kid Mania. There is a place to put pretend Fires out or in the construction site climb on the building.

When you arrive you are checked in and given a band so your children are safe and you can find a seat to seat down or even had dinner why the kids play. You wouldn’t have to worry about someone taking them because the bands have to match yours for a kid to be able to leave.

When the children arrive they are given $50 dollar and will be able to earn money for each job they finish. Have them start at at the University and graduate and they make more per job than a uneducated person.

I wanted Charlie to get a job here so he would know how to make me pens but he didn’t want to…

Each job lasts 20 to 3 minutes and you can’t go in with the children. They will wash windows, mop floors, put on a Fashion Show, clean someones teeth and doctor animals. As well as many many more jobs.

I would suggest you go when ZidZania opens and plan on staying all day so they have a chance to do all the jobs they want. KidZania has stores that close early so make sure you leave time for the kids to spend there money.

Charlie went to SMU University and ended up delivering packages. Which happens in real life as we all know.

For lunch and dinner you can choose from Pie Five Pizza, MOOYA Burgers, Fries, Shakes, Happy taco, 7-Eleven, FrostByte Ice Cream lots of choices for the family.

Pie five Pizza Shop, Mooyah Fry & Shake Shop and Happy Kitchen are interactive restaurants. Your children can make there own dinner while you wait for your own.

ZidZania has a Gift Shop and a Photo opportunity where you can purchase Gifts so make sure you bring extra money because I can tell you you will want to purchase a photo. Or at least I did.

My daughter Suzzane and my nephew David was scared to death of Tornado. As soon as I saw the sign that said Tornado I thought of them and wished they was with us.

KidZania is powered by kids taking on various roles & responsibilities throughout the city.

When you arrive at KidZania, you will find yourself at our Airport check-in area. When you check in, you and your kids will each receive an RFID security bracelet with GPS tracking device. Kids also receive complimentary kidZos, KidZania’s currency which your kids can earn, spend, save or invest.

KidZania also has great dining options and interactive restaurants such as Pie Five Pizza, MOOYAH Burger, Fries & Shakes, Happy Taco, 7-Eleven and more, where cash and credit cards are accepted.

This would be my dream job. Except I would want to sample everything. Diet what diet….
