Country Music’s Cody Hibbard

Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre is proud to present Country Music’s Cody Hibbard to the stage for One night only to the stage Thursday, January 27th, @ 7:30PM.

The Isis Theatre, which first opened in 1915, has sat vacant in the Fort Worth Stockyards since 1988. Now open as Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre, the newly renovated venue preserves the original Theatre’s rich history and welcomes audiences to discover its unique character and historical eminence. The new Downtown Cowtown will meet the Fort Worth Stockyards with authenticity while providing something special for everyone.

About Cody Hibbard

Growing up on his family farm in Adair, OK, Hibbard was first introduced to music while riding around in his dad’s tractor listening to Country radio as a kid. Years after picking up his first guitar, Cody started honing his songwriting skills, based on a deep-rooted love of country music, the values of hard work, and his many different life experiences including his acceptance into the United States Naval Academy to his traveling the countryside as a Pipeliner. Cody recorded his first single, Half Whiskey, Half Lonely in 2019 at Rosewood Studios with producer Drew Hall, followed by the rest of his debut EP with producer Philip Mosley. The result, Memory and a Dirt Road, saw Just for the Record debut at #25 on the Texas Music Pickers Spotify charts, as well as being added to the New Music Nashville and Texas Music Now Spotify editorial playlists. Having already performed on opening slots for names such as Sundance Head, Josh Ward, and Bart Crow, Cody and his band have a busy start to 2020, playing a wide array of legendary Texas venues, opening for a slew of Red Dirt/Texas Country heavy hitters, and taking their unique sound and style across state lines for the first time.

About Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, the newly renovated Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre engages guests with a variety of unique, quality entertainment.

Formerly the New Isis Theatre, the venue originally opened in 1915 as a single screen movie Theatre featuring silent films with live piano accompaniment. After a fire in 1935, the Theatre was rebuilt into one of the largest movie screen Theatres in Fort Worth. The Theatre closed its doors in 1988 and the building sat vacant for 30+ years until its rebirth in 2021.

Now, Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre gives new, vibrant life to the space. This 500-seat multipurpose venue boasts a private event area, a family-friendly bar, movie concessions and a gift shop. Preserving 106 years of historical significance, the Theatre gives audiences an opportunity to revel in its unique character and artifacts that transport them back in time.

Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre strengthens its historic neighborhood by providing visitors one-of-a-kind experiences that entertain, inspire, and reflect the community. For additional information, visit call 817-808-6390, or follow on Facebook and Instagram
