I’ve always loved the 20’s and 30’s and the crime families and Empress Creed was a novel I enjoyed because the Author shares her storytelling of how one Dulce Ella Monroe went on to become the infamous Empress Creed!

Meet the Author: Tarris Marie
Tarris Marie is proudly a Midwestern girl of the 90’s, born and raised in Gary, Indiana, but resides in the city of spaceships, Houston, Texas. As a novelist, screenwriter and actress, her purpose in life is to create and inspire others.
After battling legal blindness to a genetic eye disease called, Stargardt Disease, she was in a low place, but when God told her, “Get up and write a book,” on Juneteenth 2020, she started writing’and hasn’t stopped. She uses her characters and storytelling for self-healing and to show others, there is light beyond the darkness.
Tarris Marie studied journalism at Florida A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and business administration from Indiana University, where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a wife and mother of two beautiful children.
