Five Below “Your Next Big Thing” Notebook Review: My New Blogging Companion

The Mommies Reviews

The other day David and I stopped into City Trends to get socks for everyone one of our weekly errands. By now I should own the sock factory from all we’ve spent on socks this year. They didn’t have any socks for me that I like. I decided to try Five Below. I walked in and got sidetracked by all the school supplies.

Even though Charlie has graduated that doesn’t mean I don’t like to purchase pens and notebooks for myself. While there I found a planner I wanted for the new blog so I had a fresh place to keep notes as we finish our move to that site. I also found some pens I would like to go back and get.

As well as two notebooks or journals I thought I needed. But by the time I looked through the whole store I decided I didn’t want to spend the money. I put everything back and left without spending any money. I was so proud of myself even though I couldn’t stop thinking about the notebook/ journal and planner.

On Monday we had to go to Aldi’s to pick up bread and even though I browsed the aisle of shame I couldn’t find anything to purchase. I decided since I had been good and hadn’t been spending money I would go back to Five Below and get the planner so I could keep track of who I paid and when.

While we was in Five Below David told me to get what ever I needed for the site. I picked up the planner and David said to go ahead and get the notebook and journal as well as some pens. Which I decided not to get because David had given me 2 pens from the package of pens he had purchased for himself from Walmart but I got both the journal/ notebook and planner.

Now there sitting on my desk as I wait for Renee Brown to finish the website but I do have notes to make in the planner showing how much money I’ve been sending her for taxes next year. Along with the money I made from a sponsored post last week. I will be showing you how I use the planner soon but in the meantime I need to get out the journal/ notebook and plan content for next month. Would you want to help me?

I don’t know about you but there is something encouraging about opening a brand-new notebook. Seeing the blank pages waiting to be filled in feels like new possibilities, fresh goals, and ideas waiting to be written down. As I’ve been planning the future of Greatful Moments, I knew I needed a dedicated place to keep everything organized and thanks to David Cates and Five Below I am all set. If your looking for a journal then you should check out Your Next Big Thing Notebook or planner check out Five Below.

The notebook immediately caught my eye because of its cheerful pink cover Suzzane would have loved and it matches my pink desk and chair. The words “Your Next Big Thing” felt fitting for this new chapter as I continue building my blog from the ground up.

Inside are 120 lined sheets (240 writing pages), giving me plenty of room to organize blog ideas, editorial calendars, sponsored opportunities, recipes, holiday planning, and all of the little reminders that seem to pop into my head throughout the day. Including task I need to do for my family.

The pages are lined, making it easy to keep notes neat, whether I’m brainstorming article ideas or jotting down shopping lists for upcoming reviews. Since I often have several projects going at once, having one notebook devoted entirely to blogging helps keep everything together. The notebook is small enough to fit inside my mini backpack or our glove compartment and not take up a lot of space.

I also appreciate that the notebook has a sturdy cover that should hold up well from traveling around the house with me. More often than not, you’ll find it sitting beside my laptop, on the kitchen table, or tucked into my tote bag while I’m working on new content.

One of my favorite things about shopping at Five Below is discovering affordable items that are both practical and attractive. This notebook is a perfect example. It doesn’t have to be expensive to help keep life organized. Be watching our Back to School Gift Guide as I share more products from there.

As the weeks go by, this notebook will undoubtedly become filled with post ideas, seasonal planning, gift guide notes, family memories, and all the little inspirations that help shape Greatful Moments. Sometimes the next big thing really does begin with a single blank page.
